I. System Composition:
The jet mill system consists of an air compressor, air storage tank, refrigerated air dryer (including filters), jet mill main unit, high-precision classifier, cyclone collector, pulse bag filter, high-pressure induced draft fan, control cabinet, and material loading/unloading systems.
Working Principle:
After being cooled, filtered, and dried, the compressed air is injected into the grinding chamber through nozzles to form supersonic airflow, fluidizing the material. The accelerated material converges at the intersection points of the jet streams from multiple nozzles, where intense collisions, frictions, and shearings occur, resulting in ultrafine grinding of particles. The pulverized material is then conveyed to the impeller classification area by the rising airflow. Under the action of the centrifugal force of the Classifier Wheel and the suction force of the fan, the coarse and fine powders are separated. The coarse powder returns to the grinding chamber for further grinding due to its own gravity, while the qualified fine powder enters the cyclone collector with the airflow. The fine dust is collected by the bag filter, and the purified air is discharged by the induced draft fan.

Hard Materials: Quartz sand, garnet, silicon carbide:
The SCWN series can ultrafinely grind hard materials with Mohs hardness above 7, such as quartz sand and garnet. Its low-temperature grinding, high-purity operation, high machining finish, and easy cleaning characteristics make the jet mill series ideal for fine grinding of these materials. Depending on the principle of airflow classification, 1-3 classifier heads can be equipped according to user needs, and 1-2 finished product segments can be collected at once.
Abrasives, Refractory Materials, and Heat-Sensitive Materials:
The SCWN series can ultrafinely process hard materials with Mohs hardness above 7 under supersonic airflow. The application of fluidized bed grinding and vertical turbine classifier ensures minimal wear and tear on the equipment. The classifier wheel speed is adjustable, and the grinding parameters can be optimized. Multiple classifiers can be combined to achieve narrow-band classification of several particle size ranges at once. Typical products include diamond, silicon carbide, emery, alumina, boron carbide, tungsten carbide, special ceramics, etc.
