Working Principle of SCWN-Q Series Airflow Pulverizer

System Composition:

The airflow pulverizing system consists of an air compressor, air storage tank, chilled dryer (including a filter), airflow pulverizing main unit, high-precision classifier, cyclone collector, pulse bag filter, high-pressure induced fan, control cabinet, loading and unloading systems, etc.

Working Principle:

After being cooled, filtered, and dried, the compressed air is ejected through nozzles to form supersonic airflow into the pulverizing chamber, fluidizing the material. The accelerated material converges at the intersection of several nozzle jets, producing intense collisions, frictions, and shears to achieve ultrafine pulverization of particles. The pulverized material is then transported to the impeller classification area by the ascending airflow. Under the centrifugal force of the classifier and the suction force of the fan, the coarse and fine powders are separated. The coarse powder returns to the pulverizing chamber for further pulverization, while the qualified fine powder enters the cyclone collector with the airflow. The fine dust is collected by the bag filter, and the purified air is exhausted by the induced fan.

Widely used in industries such as chemicals, mining, abrasives, refractory materials, battery materials, metallurgy, building materials, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, food, pesticides, feed, new materials, and environmental protection for ultrafine pulverization, disagglomeration, and particle shaping of various dry powder materials.

Hard Materials: Quartz sand, garnet, silicon carbide

The SCWN series can ultrafinely pulverize hard materials with Mohs hardness above 7, such as quartz sand and garnet. Its characteristics of low-temperature pulverization, high-purity operation, high machining finish, and easy cleaning make the airflow pulverizer series ideal for fine pulverization of these materials. Depending on the principle of airflow classification, 1-3 classifier heads can be equipped according to user needs, allowing for the collection of 1 to 2 finished product fractions in one operation.

Abrasives, Refractory Materials, and Heat-Sensitive Materials

The SCWN series operates under supersonic airflow to ultrafinely process hard materials with Mohs hardness above 7. The application of fluidized bed pulverization and vertical turbine classifiers minimizes equipment wear. The Classifier Wheel speed is adjustable, pulverization parameters can be optimized, and multiple classifiers can be combined to complete narrow-band classification of several particle size fractions in one operation. Typical products include: metallic silicon, diamond, silicon carbide, corundum, alumina, boron carbide, tungsten carbide, special ceramics, etc.
