The SCWN series of Inert Gas-protected Jet Mill and classifier builds upon the foundation of fluidized bed jet mill and classifier technology. It employs nitrogen or argon as the milling medium, comprising a nitrogen/argon compression system, nitrogen/argon filtration system, milling system, classification system, collection system, loading/unloading system, nitrogen purity testing and replenishment system, nitrogen/argon generation system, and electrical control system. The entire production process and manufacturing techniques of this complete equipment set are mature and reliable technologies of our company, ensuring stable performance. It has been widely applied in the processing of metal powders, easily oxidizable raw materials, and flammable and explosive materials.

Features:

The entire production line of the inert gas-protected jet mill and classifier operates in a fully enclosed, negative pressure, and recirculating manner. Most operations are controlled by PLC programming, minimizing human intervention and control factors. The control cabinet can be placed in a separate control room at a distance, and automatic packaging machines are used for packaging and discharging. Monitoring cameras facilitate on-site observation, enabling fully unmanned operation.

In terms of safety, the SCWN inert gas-protected mill and classifier boasts the following key features:

  1. Oxygen Isolation: Before material feeding and startup, nitrogen is used to displace the air in the closed-loop system. The enclosed loading and unloading systems also displace any residual air introduced during these processes with nitrogen, maintaining a stable oxygen content within the system. Continuous monitoring of the oxygen content in the gas stream using an oxygen content tester ensures immediate nitrogen supplementation if the level exceeds a certain threshold, keeping the oxygen content within safe production standards.

  2. Controlling Powder Concentration: The feeding system is fully enclosed and operates at a constant speed, controlled by the programming of the control cabinet. The enclosure isolates oxygen, while the constant feeding rate controls the material concentration inside the equipment. The feeding speed is adjustable. To prevent accumulation of materials inside the equipment, which could compromise safety, the equipment's design, including pipe bends and component shapes, is scientifically calculated to eliminate dead zones. High-speed airflow within the equipment ensures continuous movement and prevents powder accumulation.

  3. Timely Static Electricity Discharge and Ignition Source Elimination: The pulse back-blow collector uses special carbon steel wire filter media that effectively eliminates static electricity while ensuring thorough pulse dust removal. The all-metal construction of the equipment is fully grounded to minimize the accumulation of electrostatic charges.

  4. Recirculating Air Cooling: As the entire system operates in a closed-loop, the internal moving parts generate heat during high-speed operation. Temperature is crucial to safety during processing. Therefore, a radiator-type cooler is installed on the piping to effectively mitigate potential safety hazards resulting from prolonged operation or operation under high-temperature conditions.

  5. Explosion Protection: Explosion vents are strategically placed throughout the piping system to minimize damage in the event of detonation or explosion caused by excessive internal pressure or concentration. All motors and other devices used in the system are explosion-proof, providing better sealing and reducing dust accumulation.

  6. Emergency Shutdown: The emergency shutdown trigger switch is connected to the oxygen content tester. If the monitored oxygen content fails to reach the preset value within a predetermined time, the emergency shutdown is activated. This stops material feeding, turns off the induced draft fan, delays the shutdown of the classifier, and continues nitrogen supplementation until manually stopped.
